RE: The Constitution, 3 strikes, go on green and stop on red, apples fall from trees, and a watched pot will boil. Some comments on your rambling, not quite, rant in today’s Miami Herald.
Mr. Cote,
You say, in today’s Miami Herald…
“Constitution won the 63rd Florida Derby, a big Triple
Crown-championship prep race. It’d be a terrific story for
horse racing if Constitution happened to be born in 1176.
But I checked. He wasn’t.”

It’s a small thing, no bigger than a man’s foist on the horizon.
Is it 3 strikes or 4 before “You’re out”?
Is it 9 yards or 11 for a first down?
Is it 12 ounces or 16 to make a pound?
I can see you are a big fan of Common Core while being opposed to the FCATs.
The Constitution, the document, was written in 1787 and adopted in 1789.
` Look it up, you boob.

PS – There is a trick question up there. Watch out.
